TEFL Workers’ Charter

One of the goals of the TEFL Workers’ Union is to establish a minimum set of working conditions across the UK ELT industry; a charter which schools should follow.

Once a majority of workers at a school join the union, the union can approach management and demand the school implement the charter. 

The union can’t do it without your help!

What do you think should be included in the charter? Tell us your ideas. Even better, gather some trusted workmates and think about what you’d like to change in your school. A union rep will be happy to meet all of you and discuss how we can support you in bringing your ideas to management and ensure we finally build an ELT industry that works for us.
