The TEFL Workers’ Union is proud to report that our dispute with British Study Centres Education (BSC) has come to a positive resolution.
We, along with BSC management, are issuing the statement below.
We want to take a moment to thank everyone who offered support and solidarity over the course of the dispute.

The TEFL Workers’ Union (IWW) is happy to report that we have concluded our dispute with BSC Education. We are proud that our member at the centre of the dispute has reached a mutually agreeable settlement with BSC. The TEFL Union acknowledges that in the light of information provided by BSC Education several of the statements that we made about BSC Education via social media and printed matter were not correct at the time of sharing.
We thank our existing members at BSC for their support during this campaign and encourage other teachers, admin, and support staff at the company to join the union. BSC has assured us they offer stable contracts and good pay and welcome the opportunity for open dialogue with any Union who supports the welfare of its members. This campaign shows that when such matters are in dispute, open and honest dialogue is the best option for both parties.
