TEFL social & meet-up (Bristol May 30th)

Being in a union means having support when you have problems at work. It also means being part of a community – and nothing builds community like free pizza and drinks!

Over the course of 2025, we’re hosting a series of “TEFL Town Hall” events. The first two have been in London, but we’re proud to be hosting our third one in Bristol on May 30th.

It’ll be an opportunity for TEFL workers in Bristol to get to know each other, to get to know the union, and to play what we’re calling “TEFL games for TEFL workers”. Also, did we mention free pizza and booze?

It’s at Hamilton House (80 Stokes Croft, Bristol, BS1 3QY) with doors opening at 6:30 for a 7 o’clock start.

It’s free and you don’t need to be a union member to attend, so please bring along your workmates. As always, no managers at union events, please.

If you want to join us, do us a favour and register on our Eventbrite page. You don’t need to register to attend, but this lets us plan better for food and drinks!

If you live outside of Bristol, we’d love to organise a union meet-up in your area, too. Drop us a line at [email protected] and we’ll sort something out!
