May 16th: Mapping pay & conditions in London

The TEFL Workers’ Union is proud to be hosting a meeting of ELT  workers at our union office on the 16th of May.

The focus of the meeting will be mapping pay and conditions at language schools across the capital.

Along with this, there will be:

  • An introduction to the union presentation
  • Union reps on hand to look over your contract and answer questions
  • A update from the union struggle at the British Council Taiwan
  • A special appearance from TEFL legend Hugh Dellar!

The event is free and open to all TEFL workers, not just teachers and not just union members.  Snacks and drinks will be provided. No managers please.

To register for the event, you can go to the union’s Eventbrite page here. However, Eventbrite limits us to 25 registered attendees. So don’t worry if it says it’s full, still come along.

If you have any questions or accessibility requirements, it’s [email protected]

And finally, remember that the union is strongest when we have an active presence in your workplace – so bring your workmates and make an evening of it!
