The TEFL Workers’ Union is proud to announce that our members will be on hand to support the workers at the British Council as they strike this week.
The strike which is being organised by the PCS union is to challenge the BC’s plan to restructure and privatise the organisation.
More information about the dispute can be found on the PCS website:

More information on why the TEFL Workers’ Union, despite our deep criticisms of the British Council as an organisation, is so supportive of the strike can be found here:
We invite our union members and friends to join us at the British Council picket on Friday 17 June.
The picket will be from 8:30 to 10:30 at:
1 Redman Place, London E20 1JQ
Solidarity and strike action is how we improve our lives at work and build a better world. So if you’re based in London, come on down on Friday morning to show your support and say hello to some fellow union members!
