As part of our mission to ensure every language school worker in the UK knows their rights, the TEFL Workers’ Union is running a free training on employment tribunals on July 10the at our union office in London.
Employment tribunals are not a step to be taken lightly. But in an industry where employers are not used to being challenged, sometimes it’s necessary to take legal action to ensure your school follows the law.
The training is open to all non-managerial language school workers, both union members and not-yet-union members.
The training is scheduled to last no more than two hours and refreshments will be provided. There will be a number of union reps at the training, so if you’re having any workplace issues you can also use the time to get advice and support.
