The TEFL Workers’ Union is proud to be hosting a meet-up for language school workers in and around Manchester.
The event, which is free, is on Saturday March 16th from 6:00 – 8:00pm at the Working Class Movement library in Salford (M5 4WX).
It’ll be a relaxed environment with drinks and snacks. There’ll be a presentation on how the union can support you and your workmates, plus union reps on hand to look over your contract and answer any questions you might have.
We invite all workers in language schools to come along, not just teachers. Similarly, the event is open to union members and not-yet-union-members alike. No managers, please!
To register, sign up through our Eventbrite page – but don’t worry if it says the event is full, we’ll still have plenty of space.
If you’re a TEFL worker in Manchester but can’t make it, the union’s still got your back! Drop us a line at [email protected] to speak to a rep. Solidarity!
